Are they mystical energy conductors or just pretty anklets? Hematite ankle bracelets are sweeping the fashion scene, and everyone’s flocking to add them to their Friday night wardrobe. The question is this – are they wearing these anklets for their outstanding good looks – or is there something more to these pretty stone ankle bracelets?

According to mystical masters, hematite serves as an energy absorber, drawing away negative energy to eliminate stress and other unpleasant emotions. Applying that theory, we see why hematite ankle bracelets have a tendency to be fragile – too much absorption of negative energies leaves them vulnerable to cracking.

If you’re not a believer in the mystical forces, the supposed healing properties of hematite go far beyond magical curatives. Many hematite anklets are now magnetic, using an ancient healing technique known as magnetic therapy. Anyone who’s experienced motion sickness will be familiar with this! Magnetic therapy is used to treat back pain, stiffness, headaches and sleep issues, as well as many chronic conditions including arthritis. Doctors speculate that the magnets affect the iron in the blood, stimulating circulation to speed the healing process. And even if you don’t care about the remedial properties of hematite, it’s inarguably beautiful! A hematite ankle bracelet goes from ordinary to extraordinary in the blink of an eye, depending on how you’re looking at it. Not only is a hematite anklet an inexpensive accessory, it’s the perfect fashion accessory for a Friday night on the town, or for a quiet evening in front of the fireplace! How many other ankle bracelets can make that claim?

There are so many of these healing bracelets sold around and not very cheap at that. My problem is, there really are no scientific bases that these bracelets actually heal. There are some of these that are fashionable, that’s fine. But there are those that aren’t and people buy anyway because of the added benefit. But there should really be a scientific study made on the actual healing ingredient.
