Every fashionista around the globe had their eyes locked on one of the hottest bi-annual events, Paris fashion week 2008.  As usual top designers wooed us with their creative flair and seduced us with their new ideas for Spring 2009.  While the delightful joy of high couture is on everyone’s wish list for Christmas, what ready to wear look did the style setters leave us with for this up coming spring? Alexander McQueen graced the runway in style with the highly anticipated come back after last season.  Draping, feather and layering all complimented his bird like theme and added to the goddess feel of his outfits.

Valentios ready to wear looks continue his 45 years career in style.  Strong colors and bold prints featured strongly, while polka dots livened up black and white ensembles, within the collection.

The Paul Smith Woman collection brought us a little masculinity to the feminine world. Tailored jackets were placed with over-sized trousers full of volume. Colors were kept simple using a lot of blacks and whites or more neutral tones.  Already well acknowledge for his impeccable male clothing designs, it looks like Paul Smith will be a name to keep an eye on in the ladies arena as well.

Vera Wang dazzled onlookers with her artistic creations and her romantic vision. Sheer layering added the common dimensions Vera loves to exude in her collection. Colors were kept in more natural tones with bold colors being kept to a minimum.
