Show the toes this spring. After all, what’s the use of spring if you can’t splash out colors! Paint the toes and wear heels that show them off. Save the pumps and the boots for winter.
For casual wear, don the flip-flops. If you ask me, Crocs are the most comfortable flip-flops of them all. I particularly love the Flip Leaves available in fuchsia, oyster and black. They’re so light it’s almost as if you’re barefoot.
Keep it fashionably simple with an ankle bracelet from Luster Forever:
Wedges are also uncomplicated, fun and trendy this season. Now, Jessica Simpson may be a laughingstock for most people but her collection does have some trendy wedges, particularly a white, jute-covered, open-toed, wedge heels with slingback straps. This is called the Glorie and is perfect because your colorful toenails could be highlighted in contrast and so does the shoes.
The wedges are sweet, moreso, if coupled with this anklet with heart charms:
Gladiator sandals are still in. Invest in high-end gladiator sandals because you can still use them during the summer. Chanel’s knee-high gladiators were seen worn by the biggest celebrities like Mary Kate Olsen, Iman and Claire Danes. This is a favorite among the Gossip Girl stars too.

It’s always okay to be comfortable with nude and neutral colors, but if color is what you need, Spring 2010 is about blue and hot green shoes.
Steve Madden features five-inch-heeled blue shoes with ruffles that will give you the grand entrance you need. The sad thing about this is, the shoes might take away all the glory from your face and dress. But so what, let the feet shine for a bit.
Keep it fresh with zirconia charms through this anklet:
As for the hot green footwear, let’s try the flats. Anne Klein has this lime-green slingbacks that are just divine. Keep the toenails neutral though because the lime-green here and the blue flower may be too much.
