“I’ve always been disappointed with the lack of skincare products that can keep up with the demands athletes place on their skin,” Williams says. “When I learned about Mission and their focus on innovative skincare solutions for everyone with an active lifestyle, I knew I could have an impact on the company.

For those of you who don’t know about Mission Skincare, the NYC base product was founded by Josh Shaw in 2007. Since then Shaw has partnered with athletes Steve Nash, Mia Hamm and NBA star Carmelo Anthony.

Some of the products set to be released from the line are Daily Offense SPF 30 Stick ($8.99) a moisturizer that helps protects the skin from the sun, Lip Protector SPF 20 ($3.99) great for dry/chapped lips and the Anti-Friction Cream ($12.99) , which is great for those whose skin break out from skin-to-skin and clothing/gear-to-skin contact.

According to Essence , Williams be promoting a pout protecting Lip Balmer which is set to be released in April.

Barbie has team up with Stila Cosmetics to create a collection in honor of her 50th birthday.Stila will launch a new version of its talking palette ($40), it will include tips on how to create an barbie inspired look.The limited edition Barbie Loves Stila collection is available exclusively at Sephora.Barbie loves Stila Collection with feature four Decades of Beauty cans priced at $40.

Four Decades of Beauty cans are:

Stila Cosmetics will be the sponsor of Barbie first runway show at Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week in February.Famed designer Vera Wang along with fifty other designers will drape models in barbie inspired fashions.The lead makeup artist for the run way show will be Charlotte Tilbury.

On Feb 5, 2009 Mac Cosmetics will be releasing one of it’s most intriguing collections called Cream Team.Out of all the items in this collection Creme Sheen Lipsticks interest me the most.Creme Sheen is a new formula that Mac Cosmetics will be using in their lipsticks.Creme Sheen lipsticks are super shiny and pigmented unlike most lipsticks that have been released this year. Depending on how many layers are put on, creme Sheen lipsticks can provide medium or full coverage.

Creme Sheen Lipsticks ($14) come in fourteen luscious and beautiful colors.My favorite Creme Sheen Lipsticks ($14) colors are speed dial (light blue pink) , speak louder (poppy blue pink) , hot gossip (mid-tone pink plum) , and party line (red tone plum).I’m a lip gloss junkie,but I do wear lipstick occasionally.One of my pet peeves with some lipsticks are their consistency.I like my lip wear to be creamy and glide on smoothly.This lipstick should help me solve my dilemma.Mac Cosmetics also created a line of Creme Stick Liners ($14.50) that helps lip gloss or lipstick from feathering and bleeding.

The Pink Irreverence Spring Color Collection, created by Aaron de Mey, Lancôme’s International Creative Director for Makeup is daring, and rebellious. Pink Irreverence is a surprise departure from Lancôme’s conservative makeup line from past spring collections. Pink Irreverence was inspired by Lancome’s rose icon and Aaron de Mey childhood memories of New Zealand’s Piha Volcanic Beaches . The unusual pairing of colors such as pink with black and potent shine with matte textures are very edgy even for Lancôme.This makeup look is definitely for the women who wants to get noticed.

My least favorite item in this collection is the Le Vernis Nail Polish ($25),It is the same exact side as in Color Fever “Phira Black” Gloss ($25).This black nail polish would be perfect for those who want a deep intense look.Even though I think it’s a lovely shade I personally don’t like wearing black nail polish especially ones with shimmer in them.Pink Irreverence Spring Color Collection is available at lancome-usa.com, online cosmetics stores, and department stores.
