Sexy sterling silver bracelets and lush leather bracelets too!

Designer bracelets are a great addition to any wardrobe. They add a splash of color to an otherwise conservative ensemble, jazz up your favorite jeans and (almost) add dignity and distinction to your Sunday sweats. Today’s designer bracelets are going in a whole new direction than those we’ve seen in the past, and on today’s fast paced fashion scene anything goes.
The problem is, like anything with the term “designer” stuck in front of it, designer bracelets tend to come complete with designer style and a designer price tag-and since the men and women doing the designing are the best in their field that design doesn’t come cheap. If you’re not making a six figure income (and have nothing better to spend it on than designer jewelry) you might find that many retailed designer bracelets are so far out of your price range you might have caught a glimpse of their shadow as they went sailing on by.

Remember Mary Tyler Moore’s character Laura Petrie from the classic television sitcom The Dick Van Dyke Show? Or Uma Thumans character from Quentin Tarantino’s classic cult film Pulp Fiction? Now I know what you’re thinking, what does a housewife and a wife of wealthy mob boss possibly have in common? Cropped Pants. Cropped pants, also known as carpi pants were very popular in the 80’s and make a short comeback early 2000’s. Now the half pants leg trend has once again become the hottest tickets for the spring season.
One of the reason why cropped pants are so popular is because they’re comfortable, show off your legs and gives your shoe the much needed attention it deserves. For the Height conscience, have no fear, if you keep your outfit simple with that right heel, you’ll appear taller than what you are. The popular 80’s trend made it’s return to to the runway thanks to the help of designers Derek Lam and Alexander Mcqueen.Highlights and personal faves are the funky zebra print pants designed by Temperley London and Alexander’s Mcqueen’s yellow baggy pants.

She’s one of the hottest jewelry designers to date. Missy Industry is your not your ordinary jewelery line, in only short matter of time Melissa Lafreniere has already managed to bring in a diverse group of costumers from various age groups. Honestly it’s no surprise, these items are gorgeous, but don’t take my word for it- just look for yourself.
Highlights from the Miss Industry collection, and my personal faves are the Love Ring ($78) , Chainsaw Necklace ($58) , Shear Necklace ($72) , and Safety Pin Earrings ($45) perfect for any season.
The Canadian designer graduated from the Jewelry School of Montreal in 2003. To further promote the brand Melissa would make necklaces and rings not only for herself but friends as well. As time progressed, her collection grew and now Missy is creating brand new designs every other week.
Melissa Lafreniere tells Totally My Style her influences come from graphic design, fashion, tools, mechanics, tattoos and horror films. The jewelry line is also a reflection of her personal style: punk rock meets girly.
When she’s not hard at work, Lafreniere pastimes include museums, dance clubs, rock shows, galleries and riding her bike all over Montreal in the summertime.
If you like what you seen, then I’d highly advise you head over to the official website and etsy. The line is available at trade shows in Canada and select stores. For more information on where exactly you can purchase these pieces, visit the retailer’s section of the site.

You’d have to be living under a rock, if you haven’t heard the name Robert Cavalli. The Italian designer is considered a legend in the fashion world. His designs usually range from casual to high fashion. He’s designed items for some of the world’s most famous musical artist-Whitney Houston, Mary J. Blige, Jennifer Lopez, and U2 to name a few. Roberto Cavalli boutiques are located in Milan, New York, Capri, Miami, Las Vegas and Saint Tropez.
Today I picked out three eye-catching Animal Bracelets designed by Cavalli himself. The first item is a two headed giraffe bracelet. This stunner was engraved and coated in metal gold.Currently Eluxury has the Giraffe Bracelet marked down at $269.00.
Next is the Two-Headed Snake Bracelet embedded in snake-like scales. The top has two stones, and is priced at $225.00.
The last item, which is my favorite out the three, is the black and gold Elephant Bracelet. Like the other two animal bracelets, it’s Antiqued and enameled in gold metal. The top features two shiny elephant heads with tusks. The Elephant Bracelet costs $419.00. If you ask me, it’s well worth the price.
Regardless of what bracelet you choose, you’re sure to turn heads and make a statement. Robert Cavalli designed a new line appropriately titled Just Cavali. You can preview it here.

Chanel has released three new limited edition nail polishes called La Collection Paris Moscou. The Collection was inspired by the CHANEL PARIS MOSCOU Fashion Show designed by Karl Lagerfeld.Chanel La Collection Paris Moscou features three gorgeous deep jewel tone polishes that have a black base with blue, gold or red glitter in them.Chanel La Collection Paris Moscou Nail Polish deep jewel toned shades evoke the richness and beauty of the Russian Empire. These nail polishes would be prefect for fall and winter season.OR De Russie and Fue De Russie are my favorites from this collection. The collection is available exclusively on Chanel official website,CHANEL boutiques, CHANEL Makeup Studios.Chanel La Collection Paris Moscou collection cost $30.00.
Even though I think these nail polishes are simply gorgeous, I’m not purchasing any of them.I prefer metallic nail polish over ones with slimmer in them. These nail polish shades aren’t unique enough for me to pay the hefty thirty dollar price tag, I can find similar dupes for a lot less.

SpongeBob SquarePants is celebrating it’s 10th anniversary, so Nickelodeon and the Simmons Jewelry Co develop an exclusive pendant to be auctioned off for charity. This $75,000 pendant is made in 18-karat yellow and white gold, It is 12 carats of diamonds, including white diamonds and yellow, red and blue diamonds. The collection will feature designs for both men and women.
The SpongeBob collection will be available at fine jewelry and specialty retailers in fall 2009. Te best thing about with pieces retailing between $150 and $75,000. I would love to see the $150 pieces. I know that Spongebob Squarepants pendant will make an appearance at the 2009 Sundance film festival, which is going on now! I am not a big fan of the TV series, I do love the jewelry! As the old saying goes, Diamonds are a girls best friend. I wonder who will sport this $75,000 pendant in the news.

Stephen Sprouse first wowed audiences with the Day-Glo collection in the early eighties, the designer passed away in March of 2004 from lung cancer however, his legacy still remains intact. In honor of Stephen Sprouse’s collection of work, Louis Vuitton and Deitch Project hosted launch parties simultaneously. Popular runway model Molly Sims and designer Marc Jacobs were just some of the few to come out and show support. While Stephen Sprouse didn’t originate Gay-Glo, he did however, make it his own. The colors were daring and eye-popping, a rarity for fashion back then.
Eighties “It” girls Debby Harry, Madonna, and Paige Powel sported Sprouse’s Day-Glo and helped the line become one of the most sought after collections in the fashion industry.
With spring heading right around the corner make a statement with some of these funky pieces. The first item is designed by “Queen of Fashion in Copenhagen”,Malene Birger . Whether it be lounging at the beach or on the go, make a statement with this high heeled 30182 Camey Shoe.
